Barbara Coker

Barbara Coker is a proud Bryan County native who has spent most of her life in the community she now serves as a Sales Associate with VanMeter Realty. Raised in the Oklahoma countryside, Barbara grew up on a family farm surrounded by many farm animals, developing a deep appreciation for rural living, hard work, and the values that continue to guide her today.

Barbara graduated from Bennington High School before earning her degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She began her professional career in education, where she taught for three years, before joining First United Bank in Durant. During her remarkable 43-year banking career, Barbara built lasting relationships throughout the community while earning a reputation for integrity, exceptional customer service, and dedication.

Barbara is of Choctaw and Cherokee heritage and is proud of her Native American roots. She values the traditions, resilience, and strong sense of family and community that have influenced both her personal life and her commitment to serving others.

Barbara and her husband, Ronnie, a full-time farmer and rancher, raised two daughters and are now blessed with numerous grandchildren. Her lifelong connection to Bryan County gives her valuable knowledge of the area's neighborhoods, rural properties, and local communities.

Today, Barbara combines her decades of customer service experience with her passion for helping others as a real estate professional. She enjoys assisting buyers in finding the perfect home, investment property, or commercial property while also helping sellers successfully market and sell their real estate.
